Ward was born April 15th, 1976 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian primary school. She attended Ouachita High School to pursue her second year of education. She then transferred from there to River Oaks High School after the school year ended. Following her graduation, she was a student at Northeast Louisiana University. When she was thirteen years old Ward started modeling after leaving school and moving to New York in order to accomplish this. Several years later she decided to try her hand at acting. In the 1970s, she first appeared in an uncredited role in the soap opera All My Children and was later a part of the short-lived NBC prime-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. The soap for daytime Sunset Beach cast Ward as the female Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999, she began pursuing an acting career in the film industry, starring as the neurotic Brittany Foster in the erotic thriller The In Crowd. The film was not a huge success in cinemas however it did very well with home-video and cable. Ward appeared in Shallow Hal in the year after, where she was a supporting character. Ward also was a guest on numerous TV shows as well as direct-to-DVD films. In 2009she landed the role Chloe Kmet kothe mother of one of the gymnas in on the ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It which was part of the main cast during the show's first two seasons.
